Baptism
( Full Immersion)
The baptism of a child with the sprinkle of water on the head ( like in catholic ceremony ) is a "Ritual "and is more of a "blessing ceremony" rather than a true baptism by full immersion the way Jesus taught us, although the Catholic would disagree.
If a child was to die as a child they automatically go to heaven .
That is factual until a child reaches the age of accountability, which means is able to decide for them-self and make a choice act upon their free will to make a decision to follow Jesus Christ.
This is why this method is a ritual because that Individual ( most likely a baby) hasn't chosen Jesus , the parents made the decision for them.
Baptism is about an outward expression ,a public declaration ,to follow Jesus and is a public display of the allegiance to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
By being baptized your saying with your heart and soul "I believe Jesus dies for us , and rose again on the third day , I believe he is the son of God and is the savior and I chose to follow Jesus"
The water ritual ( immersion in water- full body under water ) is scriptural in the bible and is mandatory for all believers in Jesus Christ.
Its is a representation of the spiritual birth
1. The first being physical through your mothers womb ( of the flesh)
2. The second being born Again in a spiritual Birth in the kingdom of Jesus Christ.( of the spirit )
-Through the holy spirit ..You go down into the water -symbolic of death of the old self, and come up out of the water -like Christ was risen, you have been given new life ( spiritual)
Some people will be "delivered" ( of demonic spirits) through baptism
John said , "I baptize the with water , but one who is here will baptism you with the spirit"
Jesus will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and you shall receive.
Any born again Believer can baptize you , even in the sea or a deep bath or pool.
If you have not had that I suggest you to get full immersion baptism and also read more in the bible - and here are some verses....

Some people share their experiences with about Baptism
I was excited to be baptized full immersion . I Had the Catholic ritual of a sprinkling of water on the head but this was amazing. I i was ready to declare my faith to Jesus .I felt washed clean , I felt alive and renewed. I had a woman prophecy over me that they was a big dark cloud hanging over me and I always felt a compelling force to push me to do things( and yes I did that was all true) SHe then told me she heard the words"its time"" Its time".
These were the words Jesus spoke to me just before or as he was calling me out of new age and told me the words Set apart.
Praise God ! Lee
