RAPTURE
God makes it very clear, here are most of the Scriptures that reveal a pre-Tribulation Rapture event:
1 Thessalonians 4:17 KJV:
"Then we which are alive and remain shall be *caught up* together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."
The words, "taken up/"caught up" in the original Greek passage, is "HARPAZO."
"RAPTURO" in the Latin.
"RAPTURE" in English.
Harpazo, definition:
"To seize," "to carry off by force," to "catch up," "to claim for one's self eagerly," "to snatch out or snatch away." 'Harpazo' is used 13 times in the KJV.
1 Thessalonians 4:17
also shows that all born-again followers of Christ will *"meet Him in the air* to go and be with Him forever."
This is not His second coming to the earth.
At His second coming, as He ascends to the earth,, He will destroy His enemies gathered against Him in the Valley of Megiddo, *touching down / setting foot onto the Mount of Olives.
Zechariah 14:4,
On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south.
Jude 1:14.
Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about them: “See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones
• RAPTURE: Matthew 24:36
“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son but only the Father.( not even Jesus)
• SECOND COMING:
We are given the exact number of:
- years: 3.5 yrs +3.5 yrs = 7 yrs
- months: 42 months + 42 months
= 84months
\
- days: 1260 +1260=2520 days,
This equals 3 and half years for the first part of tribulation and three and half years for the Great tribulation period.
...according to the Jewish calendar. God shows us the exact day, from the Antichrist's signing of the peace treaty with Israel, until Christ's Second coming = Seven years to the day.
The day of His Second coming is KNOWN to us.
Daniel 12:11
“From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.
Revelation 13:5
“The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise its authority for forty-two months”.
-Shows us that The Restrainer (Holy Spirit) must be removed from the earth BEFORE the Antichrist can step into power, since The Restrainer restrains him.
"For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is removed.”
The Great Tribulation begins after the Antichrist steps into power.
The bride of Christ / the church, is not mentioned again after Revelation 4:1 (a symbolic mention of the church being Raptured, "Come up here..")
Revelation 4:1
“ After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.”
....the church is not mentioned again until Rev 19, when Christ returns to the earth (the second coming), "with all the saints."
Revelation 19
After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting:
“Hallelujah!
Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,
2 for true and just are his judgments.
He has condemned the great prostitute
who corrupted the earth by her adulteries.
He has avenged on her the blood of his servants.”
3 And again they shouted:
“Hallelujah!
The smoke from her goes up for ever and ever.”
4 The twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God, who was seated on the throne. And they cried:
“Amen, Hallelujah!”
5 Then a voice came from the throne, saying:
“Praise our God,
all you his servants,
you who fear him,
both great and small!”
6 Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting:
“Hallelujah!
For our Lord God Almighty reigns.
7 Let us rejoice and be glad
and give him glory!
For the wedding of the Lamb has come,
and his bride has made herself ready.
8 Fine linen, bright and clean,
was given her to wear.”
(Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.)
9 Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.”
10 At this I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers and sisters who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For it is the Spirit of prophecy who bears testimony to Jesus.”
The Heavenly Warrior Defeats the Beast
11 I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. 12 His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. 13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. 14 The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.”[a] He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. 16 On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:
king of kings and lord of lords.
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, “Come, gather together for the great supper of God, 18 so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and the mighty, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, great and small.”
19 Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage war against the rider on the horse and his army. 20 But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. 21 The rest were killed with the sword coming out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.
The world at the time & moment of the RAPTURE = Life as usual, "eating and drinking, marrying, giving in marriage, buying, selling".... commerce taking place
...normal, everyday life, the world is completely unaware.
Matthew 24
The world at the time of CHRIST'S SECOND COMING:
"The worst tribulation the world has ever known." God's seven seal judgements are opened by The Lamb, seven trumpet judgements, seven bowls of wrath being poured out upon the earth, horrendous, terrifying occurrences.
Their will be no commerce taking place at that point, (Antichrist will shut that down), no marrying.... everyone who still makes it from day to day will be in survival mode. So commerce will be ceased, no marriages taking place. (Revelation 18:23)
"The sign of the Son of man will appear in the sky," just before He appears, at His Second Coming to touch down upon the earth. There will be an awareness of His Second Coming, prior to that event.

At the time of the harpazo/rapturo, much before the wrath ,people will simply vanish. No one will know that it was going to happen.
In several places in the NT, the church / born-again followers of Christ are told:
"Be of good cheer"
"Live with expectant hope"
"Encourage one another"
These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer: I have overcome the world.”
How on earth would the body of Christ do that, if we were also told we were going to go through the Antichrist's murderous reign, and were going to have the horrifying wrath of God poured out on us??
"....we are not appointed unto God's wrath."
1 Thessalonians 5:9
“For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ”.
1 Thessalonians 4:8
“After that, we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord. 18Therefore encourage one another
